Ulibaw instrument
The ulibaw is a traditional musical instrument from the Cordillera region of the Philippines. It’s also known as the “jaw harp” or “mouth harp,” and is played by placing the instrument’s metal reed between the player’s teeth and plucking it with the fingers.
The ulibaw produces a distinctive twangy sound and is often used in social gatherings, such as weddings and fiestas. It’s considered a symbol of cultural identity and is often passed down within families as a treasured heirloom.
