Advanced Quality Engineer RESPONSIBILITIES

The advanced Quality engineer provides guidance to ensure that automated test facilities are utilized primarily after each functional verification step. They work closely with manufacturing engineering on improving automation output by defining interfaces between software programs and hand tools. They help to define quality goals and design criteria, issues associated with the configuration management programs.
Advanced Quality Engineer Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline from an accredited college or university
3 years of technical experience utilizing modern statistical processes and procedures, capacity modeling techniques, simulation testing techniques, process capability studies, and other statistical expertise. Engineering backgrounds are desirable with certification as a Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) preferred.
Knowledge of the following fundamentals is required: measurement principles including tool influence; sampling theory; probability models for discrete variables (batch size…); product design and development methods including yield analysis, uncertainty modeling, design of experiments. Experience with computer-aided product designs is a plus.
Knowledge of one or more standard linear regression techniques used in the different areas will be valuable to this position. Working knowledge or experience with statistical quality control tools such as GAMP1001.
